VISIT TO MUSEUM OF CHILDHOOD
On 1st March 29 young researchers from Year 7 visited the V& A Museum of Childhood in Bethnal Green to research and take photographs of children's games from the 40's and 50's.
The V&A Museum of Childhood houses the UK's national collection of childhood-related objects, one of the finest in the world. Spanning the 1600's to the present day, the collection features toys, dolls' houses, games, puppets, nursery, children's clothing and furniture.
EASTER DEVISING
Over the Easter Holidays 14 young actors devised their play under the guidance of Dvora and the Creative Team.
The stimulus given was oral testimonies of local residents from Age Concern, Newham, local Sheltered Housing, and also from Alumni of Lister School.
There were many original ideas and interesting debates which were worked through and given a dramatic format; out of this came the outline of the play.
PERFORMANCE
The ensuing performance was performed and recorded in the Old School Hall in the week beginning 21st June (Monday and Tuesday @ 1.30 pm for E13 Learning Community Primary Schools and Tuesday @ 5.00pm for the wider community) which is National "Who Do We Think We Are Week", a Citizenship initiative.

EDUCATION AND INFORMATION RESOURCES Over the Summer an Educational Pack was be produced for local primary schools, together with an Information Pack for the local community.
